Been busy working on my Fine Art America website and images. I have two Florida photography trips planned for later this month then again in April. I’m still available for your photography needs. Feel free to contact me with any questions about my services. Ed Taylor - Official Website (pixels.com)
Hunting From Above
Hands down my favorite bird of prey, the Bald Eagle. They hunt, mostly fish, from above. I took an image I shot earlier this year and with the power of photoshop turned it into a work of art.
Danielle & Keith Wedding
Danielle and Keith got married in one of my favorite churches, St. Martins located in the City of Cheviot. We spent the day visiting some fantastic locations in Cincinnati and Kentucky making it easier for me to get some great shots. Both a fun couple and wedding party made the day a success.
Katie & Bayden
First time I ever shot a wedding at the Honeysuckle Ranch and it turned out to be a beautiful venue. Only thing that topped the location was the bride and Groom, Katie & Brayden. Fun day.
Dan & April Engagement Shoot
Late morning shoot at the beautiful Spring Grove with Dan & April. I was shocked at the lack of people walking the grounds but it worked out for us. Thanks to the awesome couple for letting me part of their fun day.
Pool Wedding
A fun couple, perfect lighting & weather, backyard wedding and a pool make a perfect combination. Thanks to Susan and David for letting me tag along.
I Have Things To Say
Even though I've had a blog as part of my website for years, I rarely “blog” in the traditional sense. My normal blog entries are a few short sentences followed by several images I recently captured that I'd like to share with my website visitors. I guess I took the lazy way out and used the old cliché that a picture was worth a thousand words, and therefore, didn't need to type anything to get my message out. Then, there were the “just what should I blog about” questions that kept me from blogging. Certainly, the blog should be about my photography and not what I had to eat for last night's dinner, for example. I could write “how to” stuff when it comes to photography, like maybe, lighting your subject for an outdoor portrait. Or, what lens is best for shooting a bride walking up the aisle with her father. Then I think, for what? There are thousands of “how to” blogs and videos online. Why do I need to write another one? I tell my clients that my blog is what I've done lately. If you want to see “some” of my latest work, just visit my blog. A mom considering my services for her high school daughter’s (or son) senior pictures doesn't really care about what lens I believe is best for capturing a humming bird in flight. So, again, why bother? Well, I guess the answer to that question is, because I have things to say. A little trivial at times but still things. So, here it goes. . .
When asked, I always tell anyone interested in getting into pro photography to have back up gear for everything. I am living proof, or as my wife would say, “the best example of a screw up” of why take backup gear on every job, no matter how small. I couldn't tell you how many times I have dropped lenses, cameras and /or strobe units on hard surfaces while working. I go into each and every assignment knowing I have slippery fingers. “Be careful”, I tell myself. But no matter how cautious I am, it never fails, bang!, something falls and pieces go every where. My last shoot was no different. A fun couple, Katie and Brayden's engagement shoot at their future wedding venue. (see Katie & Brayden's blog entry)
The weather was perfect, except for a slight breeze. Enough breeze that if you failed to properly weigh down a light stand things could go wrong. By the way, there isn't supposed to be a breeze in late June. Around here, in Cincinnati, the wind normally shows up in April and only sticks around for a couple months. However, this late June shoot was a little different. I had my Flashpoint eVOLV AD200 on a light stand and before I could take action the breeze knocked it over, sending the strobe unit crashing into a gravel walkway. The rear displayed cracked, preventing me from reading the display. Because I practice what I preach, I had backup strobe units. That was a Saturday and by the next Tuesday the Flashpoint as in the mail being sent in for repair.
So, if you are that mom looking to retain my services for your child's senior pictures (or what ever job you have in mind). I have backup gear. Yeah, mostly because I have a “dropping things” problem, but at least I'm prepared.

Katie & Brayden
I shot Katie & Brayden’s engagement pictures at their future wedding venue, the Honeysuckle Ranch. The weather couldn’t have been more perfect and the beautiful setting along with Katie’s infectious laugh made the shoot fabulous.
Diana Lynn Dance
Because of Covid the 2020 Diana Lynn picture day was cancelled. However, 2021 picture day went off without issue. Its a fun day and a lot of shooting. Thanks Diana Lynn for choosing ET Photography.
Now that is a train.
After shooting weddings for 35 years I am not sure what my personal record for photographing the longest wedding dress train is, but Sunday’s wedding had to be close. Shot for Maxim Studios.
First Wedding In 2021
Mid March and I was lucky enough to be included in Brittani and Joey’s wedding at the Glendale New Church. It was a small and simple wedding at the beautiful venue in Glendale, Ohio. Thanks to Brittani and Joey for letting be part of their day.
Florida Keys
My son just got married on a beach in the Florida Keys. It was during the time the whole country was freezing and under a blanket of snow (Even Texas). Probably the only place in the lower 48 that wasn’t cold was the Keys. It was beautiful. While I was there I was able to take a few shots around the Keys. All these images are on my Fine Art America site for purchase. (Visit the For Sale page on this site for the link)
Happy New Year everyone
2020 has been a screwed up year and like everyone else work my photography business wasn’t as busy as I would have liked. However, look at the bright side. I was able to create some nice wall art with my spare time. Have a great New Year.

Lauren & Blake
Love, coupled with fall colors, make for a great engagement setting and Lauren & Blake agreed. Shot at Spring Grove.
Marina & Zak
Picking a wedding date for Halloween can be risky because of the weather. However, Marina must have known what she was doing because the weather was beautiful. Walhill Farm in Batesville Indiana was the spot and it will be a day the two will never forget. I thank them for letting me part of their day.
Rachel is a Senior
Rachel just started her senior year at East Center High School in Indiana and I was lucky enough to be asked by her mom to do her senior pictures. It was a chilly morning in late October but the sun warmed us enough to ensure a fun time.
April & Dustin
A single image from yesterday’s wedding with April & Dustin, very fun couple. The best part was the party bus ride around town with the wedding party. Shot for Maxim Studio.
Stephanie & Thomas
Even the threat of the Corona Virus couldn’t keep Stephanie and Thomas apart as they tied the knot. The Pebble Creek Golf Club was the venue. Thank you both for letting ET Photography capture your day.
Kierra & Willie Engagement Shoot
I spent Sunday morning at Ault Park here in Cincinnati with Kierra & Willie. It was a hot and sunny day but it couldn’t have turned our more perfect.
New Digital Art
Using the power of photoshop, I created some new digital art. Perfect for your wall, cellphone cases, throw pillows, yoga mats and more. Go to my “for sale” page and follow the links to see more. I’m always uploading new images and designs.
